Shaw and Partners is delighted to announce that the Shaw and Partners Foundation has surpassed a remarkable milestone by donating over $10 million to charity since its inception in 2015.
The Shaw and Partners Foundation pledged to raise and donate $10 million to charity by our 10-year anniversary in 2025. Today, we are extremely proud to announce that we have achieved this in less than nine years. To date, the Shaw and Partners Foundation has supported over 500 philanthropic projects and donated over $12 million to more than 250 Australian charitiesโa testament to the dedication of everyone involved.
In celebration of this achievement, we launched the Shaw and Partners Foundation Week initiative. During the week of 22-26 July, Shaw and Partners was proud to donate $500,000 to over 30 micro-charities across Australia. These funds were allocated to our six major officesโSydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, and Perthโwhere local staff and advisers nominated the beneficiaries.
The Shaw and Partners Foundation was established in 2015 to provide a platform for our companyโs greater participation in community service. Our efforts include extending financial support to our advisers and staff in their fundraising endeavours by matching their contributions dollar for dollar, promoting activity-based fundraising, and providing pro bono consulting services to charities. With a strong focus on mental health, education, and social inclusion, we are committed to making a meaningful impact. Our mission is to instil and perpetuate real change in the fabric of Australian society.
In total, 38 charities were chosen to receive a donation from the Shaw and Partners Foundation during Foundation Week, totalling over $500,000.
